Pondington picnic-ers

Wrote this when there was a picnic area made on MFF awhile ago now.

Pondington will never be the same

You can see, as you go up the lane 

This way !

There's a banner with balloons sticking out high

inviting 'folks' to picnic up there & why ?

It's all for money,things don't change much

How can a pig make a living with such..

an inviting 'Lure' to sit & feast

on cucumber sandwiches & the like ,at least

Drinks are on the menu too !

Yum ! yum !

carrot juice,tomato ,to name but a few.

They wait around & wave their hands

while All in a Line...they just 'stands'

I'm ready to order !

S'pose we can't change what they call 'progress'

Just jump on the band waggon..don't want no stress

Take their money,give them their requests

No tax to worry here,treat them as guests

But I do like ketchup along with  my  chips..............

( slurp! ) I just use my tongue after to lick my lips

cone of chips with ketchup-what else !

Wonder what it will be like when there's snow on the hill

Will they come... to picnic still ?

free in giving,not 'charging',not even a 'bean'

2 , Is for two of everything

that's clever to me & you,

quick to understand -

Not many 'have it '- just a few

G , is for Glamerous

beauty & charm

alluring , attractive

straight from My Free Farm

C , is for Cute

meaning attractive & quaint,

Don't need to explain that

it's making me quite faint

A , is for Angelic

complete with your wings.

How I wish I had

a pair of those...'Things'

delicately sensitve,

F , is for Flamboyant,all flowery & showy

Pansies & lillies,look great in a posy.

L , is for Lively,always on the 'go'

Energetic,full of power,never slow

Y , is for Youthful,whatever your age,

One day we'll all be like a wise old sage.

I , is for Illustrious,on the throne he does sit,

G , is for Genius,but LOOK there is more
