Ima's Secret mission ( Chapter Two )

 Hi there ! " said the old buzzard who was in the Clubhouse perched on his  'perch' ( actually it WAS a fish )

" Oh no ! " thought Imapig2, " how am I going to make my wings without anyone seeing me ?  "Before she could say anything, Buzzardpig flew off his perch, calling to Imapig2

"Bye Buzzy" 

" Think I'll go & catch me a nice juicy pigeon " said the old buzzard & away he flew without a mention of the feathers Ima was trying to hide behind her back.

" Hope there aren't anymore disruptions " said Ima to herself as she gathered all the feathers together from her hiding place....Imapig2 got her glue out to make a pair of wings when ...suddenly she was aware of two sets of 'eyes' looking at her from out of the tank on the book case. 

Is someone ...there ? She felt a '
Presence'

Imapig2 smiled back at her two pets Slugger & Sammy & popped a couple of radishes into the tank for them. " Now be quiet while I make my wings " she told them & busied herself for the next hour or two cutting & glueing.

  At last she was satisfied with the results of her labour & held them up to admire them, " I'll just try them on " she said." What do you think ?" she said to Slugger & Sammy gazing at her from inside their tank.Her two pets seemed to be smiling in approval ( she thought ). " Great...that will do then. Can't wait to try these out. All I need now is for Moonpig to take me up in his U.F.O. to the moon Titan around planet Saturn & I can be just like my bestest friends."                             Imapig2 hid her wings out of sight so that she could suprise APigCanFly & Moonpig ....

....The next day when they were altogether in the Clubhouse Imapig2 said to her friends " Close your eyes, I have something  ' Special ' to show you "

" Wonder what this could be " mumbled Moonpig, trying to peak  0 @ <  

" I like surprises" giggled APigCanFly , with her eye tightly shut  > @ < 

 " Ta Dah ! You can look now "..Imapig2 was wearing her pair of wings she had made.

Ta-Dah !

" Oh no ! not again ! " despaired Moonpig...APigCanFly stood there Open mouthed   

" Well , what do you think ? " said an overjoyed Imapig2  :) I was reading in Mommy Dear's magazine ....blah ! blah ! blah ! ...& thought you could take me there Moony, What do you think " smiled Imapig2.

" And me, I could come too ! " agreed an excited APigCanFly

We could give it a try !!!!

"Well I have been working hard repairing a few problems  Moonpig thought out loud ( this might be a good idea to see if my controls are working right ) he said ...under his breath.  O.K.....let's try it ..I've de-cluttered some of my gadgets," assured Moonpig " so there should be plenty of room for all of us."

Ima's Secret Mission ( Chapter 1 )

 Chapter One

For months now Imapig2 had secretly been collecting  loose feathers that had been left around the farm yard, off hens, geese & even an old buzzard.... But why this secret hoard ? Had she become a compulsive hoarder ? Hardly, she had read in one of ... 'Mommy Dear's ' magazines an article entitled " Fancy That ! Facts to make you go Wow ! ". According to what it said, Saturns moon 'Titan'has a low gravity. The gravity is low enough that with wings strapped to your arms, you could....fly like a bird.

" Wow ! "said Imapig2 to herself, " if I collect enough feathers & make a pair of wings......I could achieve my life long ambition (even though she was still a piglet by many other pig's standards)...to fly like my friends ". So that is what she had been doing for the last few months.All her collected feathers had been carefully hidden away in Moonpig's Clubhouse.

APigCanFly spotted her one day collecting feathers from the chicken-coop... " " Hey ! Ima " she shouted above the noise of cackling hens," What are you doing with all those feathers ? "

Just the job

" Oh ! not much." answered Imapig2 shyly," I thought the Clubhouse could do with more cleaning so I'm going to make a New feather duster. " ( was all she could think of...off the top of her head quickly )

APigCanFly looked suprised " Don't think you're going to need All those " she commented .

" Erm.....( thought Imapig2 again....) I thought I would make one each for  my 'Bestest friends '...You, Moonpig & myself " Ima answered back.     

" That's very thoughtful of you, but I still think you have far too many feathers....Must go, "  & off she flew towards Mootown.

" Phew ! that was close," ( thought Imapig2 to herself & carried on towards the Clubhouse to hide her feathers )

Suddenly...." Hi ! There " called Moonpig appearing from out of nowhere." What you going to do with ..All those feathers ? "

Oh ! Hi Moony...APigCanFly went THAT way

" Oh ! hi Moony, erm..er my mommy wants some to re-stuff her feather cushions with " said Imapig2 thinking quickly..." Aren't you going   the wrong way ? " Moonpig pointed out" Oh ! yes, silly me " laughed Imapig2 " Thanks Moonpig, " by the way, if you hurry, you'll catch up with APigCanFly, she just flew off to Mootown,  ( pointing in the direction & hoping Moonpig's attention would be distracted away from the feather situation ).It worked ... quick as a flash he ran off in the same dirction that APigCanFly had taken.A big sigh of relief came from Imapig2's direction as she darted into the Clubhouse carrying all the feathers she had gathered"
