A 6 chapter story of Imapig2's Pet Slug

CHAPTER 1    ( Ima's Pet Slug )

For many month's Imapig2's pet slug named ...Slugger ~ of course , had been through Vigerous Training . He could....Stay !.....Bow.....Play Dead...Rear up & numerous other tricks too .

Ima's friends.....particulary...Moonpig said that he thought it was a ...waste of time teaching him to do things like THAT ! ... & that he'd look better on a dinner-plate .

" No , you can't do That ! " an astonished Imapig2 said , " he's my ' Friend ,' as well as my pet . I could never EAT him .replied Imapig2 

" Well if you ask me . he'd looks like a ... date . &  I like dates " ( slurp ! ) went Moonpig.

" Take your eyes off him " Imapig2 quickly answered Moonpig , snatching  Slugger up into her trotters & gently lowering him back into his tank , patting his back . "There , there  , Slugger , I'll keep you safe in your tank . I'll put a lock on it & hide the key in a safe place "

" Take your eyes off him"

APigCanFly had been listening in & told Moonpig not to tease Ima so much & if she wanted a pet slug , that was fine as long as Mommy Dear didn't have to have it in the house ." I know , " APigCanFly consoled Imapig2 , " Lets keep him safe in the Club-House" 

" O.K. " agreed Imapig2 & both carried the tank with Slugger in , into the Club-House & rested it on top of the bookcase ( plonk ! )

Moonpig , who had followed behind them , 'winked' his eye & said " Better not let too much sunlight into the tank , otherwise Slugger will get cooked !.... Or maybe that's a good idea . "

ApigCanFly saw tears welling up in Imapig2's eyes & comforted Imapig2 with the words " Don't worry , this side of the Club-House is sheltered from the midday sun ,there'll be NO problems of THAT ! kind ." & with that they settled down to watch Slugger eat his lettuce...his carrot...& his radish that had been put in for him.

" Wow ! he's got a big appitite ! " exclaimed Ima .

" Should grow BIG & JUICY then, just the way I like 'em " joked Moonpig .

" Waa ! " Imapig2 let out a wail.

APigCanFly threw an apple out of the fruit bowl at Moonpig saying " You'll have me to deal with if Anything happens to Slugger...really , how could you be so thoughtless ? "

" Practise , just practice . " Moonpig replied,running off quickly before APigCanFly grabbed something else to throw .

" Now...now..." APigCanFly comforted Imapig2 , as she handed a tissue from the box on the coffee table , " I'm sure Moonpig didn't mean it ."

Parp !  Imapig2 blew her snout , then seeing that Slugger looked contented eating his food ,said " My Mommy as been making cup-cakes this morning , would you like one ? " & led the way to the delicious aroma ,leaving Slugger munching away in his tank.

The Bogeyman Pig

My mommy says, you shouldn't go into the forest on your own

At such a young age as you, & you don't even have a phone

 It's dark in there & you might meet the..Bogeyman Pig

And what will you do then , as he's so BIG ?

Guess what he eats for his tea ?

yum ! yum !

Little pink pigs , like you & me,

green ones go down as another treat

and pigs with wings ,he can defeat !

Oh ! No !.... says Ima to her mommy dear,

me & my friends will play right here,

we won't go into the the forest,for fear

we get eaten alive  by the ...Bogeyman Pigs leer

As Ima & her friends played hide & seek nearby,

Ima's mom let out a contented  'Sigh ! '

But Ima & her bestest friends soon found

themselves playing near forbidden ground.

& very soon curiousity got the best of them all

as they tip-toed quietly into the forest  so Tall

In the distant they heard a funny weird noise ,

like 'rumblings', the working of machinery alloys.

" Hey there ,what's that sound ? " said moonpig suprised.

" Shh ! talk more quietly " APigCanFly rationalized.

Ima said " Do you think it's The Bogeyman Pig ? "

" No,there's no such  'Thing ' says moonpig 

" She just made it up,to keep you away

from playing in the forest,I think ,  wouldn't you say ? "

" Be quiet you two " says APigCanFly " I do insist,

let's get home before we're missed "

" Not just yet,let's get  closer & see " 

says moony & Ima, jumping for glee

" Get down ! stay quiet or we'll get found out "

replied APigCanFly trying not to shout.

The three little pigs ventured further inside

'til a clearing appeared before their eyes,

they settled down to watch & learn

among the trees & tall forest fern.

Was this some secret work being addressed ?

' maybe something to do with U.F.O's ' moonpig guessed

He's behind you !!!

' Or maybe this is where pig's get their wings '

APigCanFly would say that.. & other things !

Ima was simply amazed by the 'Digger'

They didn't notice a ...Shadowy figure

" Wow ! Look  what they're doing " carried on Ima " over there ! "

The three little pigs,they were not aware.

Suddenly from behind came a  Big  Gruff  Voice

" AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING HERE ,DID YOU COME BY CHOICE ? 

THIS IS PRIVATE LAND , DIDN'T YOU READ THE SIGN

THAT'S A PITY 'CAUSE NOW...YOU'RE.... MINE ! "

"Must be The Bogey Man " they all thought

" g g g  got to get out of here,before we are c c c caught "

All three dashed into the undergrowth - slipping

this way & that way they went scamper - ing 

avoiding the figure,trying to catch all three,

not wanting to be caught for the Bogeyman Pig's tea

" TRESSPASSING IS NOT ALLOWED "

shouted out the Bogeyman Pig out loud

Puffing & Panting he continued to follow

through mud & thicket,down to the hollow

But the Bogeyman Pig was tiring out

& the three little pigs took advantage of this,no doubt.

They all ran off in different ways

See you tomorrow

to confuse the follower,just like a maze.

"Meet you tomorrow ,in the usual place "

shouted Imapig2,leading the chase.

Imapig2 rested once back at the farm

"Hope the other two have come to no harm.

better not tell mom where we've all been

Or that the Bogeyman Pig ,..we've all seen.
