Cup - Cakes ?

Tap ! tap ! tap ! came the noise on Imapig2's kitchen door one sunny morning .

" Oh ! hallo Moonpig " said Imapig2, poking her snout out of the door, waving a wooden spoon in her trotter.

" I hope that ...( points to spoon in Imapig2's trotter ) isn't to ' hit ' me. " said Moonpig ducking out of the way ... just in-case .

" No, " laughed Imapig2 " I was about to cook some cup-cakes, APigCanFly is here too , taking charge of the Hot Oven, 'cause.... my mommy says " started Imapig2 " blah..blah ....)

" Oh ! here we go again. " thought Moonpig to himself,

"...& I'm much too young to mess with the cooker. I might burn my.. my pretty little trotters .That's why APigCanFly is here...to help " continued Imapig2 ignoring Moonpigs twisted face he had made.

" I can help too ! " co-erced Moonpig, pushing his way through the kitchen door , past Imapig2 & giving APigCanFly gentle 'peck ' on her cheek.

" Oh ! hi there " said APigCanFly " fancy seeing ...you..here, I'm helping Ima with her cakes. "

" Yeah ! I've come to ...'help '...too ! Well ' many trotter's make light work ' so they say."Moonpig chanted.

" Let's set you to work then " APigCanFly began ...

Let's set to Work then,
 said APigCanFly

( Work.....WORK !..... echoed in Moonpig's ears ) " Oh uhm ! that's right, I nominate myself, er...um....'Chief Cake Taster' & er...um..'Management Organizer'.

" That sounds ..important. " said Imapig2 who had quickly followed Moonpig. " I want to mix the 'goo' up & put the icing & ' pretties ' on the cakes."

" And I'll oversee the 'Hot Bits' , so no-one gets burnt " piped up APigCanFly , so team...we have about one hour left, before Ima's mother gets back,so,...lets.. get cooking. "

So everybody started busying themselves.Imapig2 emptied the mixture into the bowl, added eggs ( from the free-range hens ),butter ( from the cow's creamy milk ) etc; etc; APigCanFly set the oven temperature, making sure the racks were at the right height in the oven,and Moonpig !! ..well he watched ..didn't he ?

" Come on Moony, " called Imapig2 " can you get me some cups to put the cup-cakes in...please ? "

I'm supposed to be ...Supervising! said a Grumpy Moonpig
 

 

" Here You Are !!!! " voiced a grumpy Moonpig, " I'm supposed to be ..Supervising "

( Swish ! swish ! Whrr ! whrr ! ) went the mixer in Imapig2's trotters.

" Right into the cups now. " said Imapig2

" WAIT ! I need to test the ...er..Quality first " said Moonpig dipping his trotter into the mixture ( Slurp ! Mm mm, ) yes, nearly ...er there. Carry on Ima, just a little more mixing, I think. Set the mixer to the fastest position, it won't take so long then."

　

( Click ! Swish ! swish ! whrr ! CLUNK ! WHRR ! WHRR !...Splat ! Splat ! SPLAT ! )

" STOP ! The mixer Ima " shouted APigCanFly, " The mixture is ..Going..EVERYWHERE !

The mixture..went EveryWhere !!!

 

" I can't ! " shouted back Imapig2, over the noise of the electric mixer," The button's broken. "

Eventually...Rmm ! whrr ! splutter ! splut ! " Just unplug the mixer. " joked Moonpig.

" Oh ! what a mess " exclaimed Imapig2 & APigCanFly both together.

Scrape ! scrape ! splodge ! was heard in the kitchen, as a clear up plan went into action.Moonpig just supervised,as usual.

" Well ..it ...will have to do, I suppose." APigCanFly said, mopping her brow.....

Later....much later.. "Are you sure cupcakes are made in ...in tea cups ? " asked APigCanFly .

" Of course, " smiled Imapig2, " otherwise you wouldn't call them ' cupcakes' would you ? "

" Then we need more cups . " APigCanfly continued.

( Crash ! Tinkle ! ) " oops ! here you are Ima " Moonpig handed the last 'whole ' cup over.

Last cup...No more left
 

 

" Thanks Moony , ( splodge ! splodge ! ) There finished last one. Now ...into the oven."

APigCanFly put them gently in the oven & after ten minutes, the cakes were ready.

" Don't touch yet ! They're still much too hot to eat " assured APigCanFly.

" Aww ! Let me put some icing on them & some 'pretties' " pleaded Imapig2.

So APigCanFly helped Imapig2 to make the icing tops & got some decorations so she could put them on.

" Don't they look pretty ? " Said Imapig2.

"Bet they taste even nicer,... How you supposed to eat them ? " asked Moonpig.

" I think you just 'spoon' them out, bit by bit ." She answered her little green piggy friend.

" Let me try then ? " said Moonpig grabbing a cupcake, & trying to stuff the whole thing into his mouth. " Mm ! I didn't quite get the taste of that one. I will have to try another. "

Suddenly ! the door opened & in marched Mommy Dear.....

" Arrrgh ! What's been going on in my kitchen ? " she shouted, looking at all the mess on the walls & worktops.

All three spoke together, in such a way as Mommy dear couldn't dechipher an ..intelligent answer.

Finally Moonpig stated, " We thought we'd em .. er..Re-decorate the kitchen for you, while we were ..um..er..making cupcakes. " Moonpig smiled :)

" Get out ! Get out ! " shouted, Mommy Dear.

 Must ..erm..go...says Moonpig
 

APigCanFly had flew out of the window quietly,while no-one was looking & Imapig2 just stood there, her chin wobbling away, ready to burst into tears.

" Must go, duty calls " said Moonpig backing his way out of the door & running off, leaving Imapig2 to face Mommy Dear's wrath !......

The Three Little Pigs ( Dream ??? )

Imapig2 sat with her bestest of friends

In their favourite spot in the meadow,where the river just bends

I had the strangest of ~ dreams last night she said

Perhaps you can help some light to shed

A troubled shared is a trouble halved so they say

perhaps us three together can save the day

so tell us your dream APigCanFly enquired

Moonpig & I are feeling inspired

So Ima began her story right there

Yes all her troubles - she lay bare

Woke up this morning,got out of bed

Walked outside my farmhouse,after I'd been fed

'Things' didn't seem right in the farmyard today

Stange things were happening but I have to say-

                   The stork sat in her usual place

stork with a funny-faced sheep

but a sheep was there too,pulling a silly face

Another was on the chicken-coop with a fancy grin

As though it had been a long time-on the gin

Another four stood below it the yard

with a puppy dog - Were they on guard ?



Maa~~

A goat stood still as if 'looking me over'

"It wasn't me ( honest ) who ate your clover"

 



S.O.S.????

A hen on the barn roof was waving a wing ~

Was it a 'Signal' or was it having a 'fling'

Two hens were were standing outside of the coop

and another face appeared at the window to 'snoop'

The ladybirds on the fence were busy

Going round & round-they made me quite dizzy

Creeping blue flowers round the fence were growing

And a pig on a tractor was going a plowing

Out the way, I'm going plowing !!

The sails on the windmill were turning around

milling the grain-for the flour to be ground

That sounds 'Real Cool' Moonpig squeezed in

while Ima drew breath,then continued her 'din'

But the strangest part was what I saw Up above

Two sheep on a cloud flew by-like a dove

As they hung on tight to the 'silver' cloud

this is what they were Baa-ing out loud..




It's All a Dream

" We wondered lonely On a cloud

that floats Up Here over vales & hills

When all at once we saw a Crowd,

A Host of Golden Daffodills

Beside the Farm,Beneath the Trees

tossing their heads-in the breeze

Imapig2 sat still exhausted & tired

Tell me please,your verdict is required

APigCanFly & Moonpig looked at each other,

Was this another joke,or shall we just smother

Imapig2 & tell her to 'Grow Up Quick'

not falling again for that 'old trick'

We think you've missed one important fact

said APigCanFly trying to use 'tact'

Yeah! says Moonpig - her two friends said

"Those flowers aren't 'Daffs' they're sunflowers instead "

Yes I thought they were Sunflowers,will tell them when

They 'Get off the Cloud',or when they pass over again



Epilogue !

Wasn't that good fun,they were suns not daffs

All three pigs rolled over,Then out came the laughs

Time passes by & pigs move on

To fly like her friends Well,it just wasn't on

Well I know I can't fly,So I thought I would try

To find something different,Said Imapig2

To challenge my 'Urge' for adventure,wouldn't you ?

Slow down,don't be hasty ( replied moonpig ) my friend

We don't want you coming to another 'sticky end'

That's right ,take your time APigCanFly piped in too

Don't rush in,we can wait.....

Just think it right through

Ima's two friends looked straight at each other

With trotters behind backs ( crossed ) ,

praying Ima wouldn't bother

Both with worried looks upon their faces

Would Imapig2 notice . as the ground she paces.

Haven't thought of much quite yet

was waiting for you two for suggestions to get

Why don't we go to village to see , said APigCanFly a clue there might be.

So off they trotted to mootown square

to search for adventure,for Ima to find there

On the competition board was a village quest

Why not try this Ima's friend said in jest,

It needs ...NO MONEY!....just loads of honey

moonpig retorted.......so go get it sorted !





Seems a little bit ' Tame ' for a pig such as me

Do you really think I could win a Tro-phy ?

It's harder than you think,Ima's two friends said

Lots of other pigs will be trying to win,instead

Oh well..in for a penny,in for a pound

I'll give it a go....

Can't be that 'hard' I'm bound

The bees will do the work for me

Said Imapig2,I've just got to wait & see

Will collect the honey over the next few days

Then submit my 'bounty'

my friends I'll amaze !!!

Off went Ima to tell all her bees

"make lots of honey for me,do please "

 

Off went the other two both together

following closely over hill & heather

The bees all buzzed " we will do our best

to help get a trophy from the Village Quest "

Good I'll dust my shelf....... & get it ready

babbled Imapig2 excited & " heady "

Calm down dear piggy,you look rather giddy

I'm telling you as a friend......you need to stay focused

eat your greens like the locust.........And remember...at last

don't count your chickens.. 'til they're hatched

What do you mean APCF replied Imapig2

I'm collecting Honey not chickens,so you

don't have to worry 'bout me you see

I'm just leaving it to the " Queen Bee "

Oh dear! cried APigCanFly to moonpig

Do you think we over did it...just a 'smidge'

No it might take her mind off flying for a while

said moonpig with a frown,that turned to a smile :) .

At last came the day for the honey to submit

then go back to the farmhouse & wait & sit

Time passes slowly & things get real tense

as the three little pigs waited in high suspense

Soon the blue mail box showed there was a letter inside



 

 



" Fetch it in quickly......in you I'll confide "

says Imapig2.With 'IT' in her trotters right now

all shaking & trembling,& feeling aglow

Well ! OPEN the Thing ! shouted moonpig...otherwise

you won't know if a trophy is yours inside

I'm too scared to look- whispered Imapig2

Please open it up.....Please one of you

Dare we look inside ?
 

 

　

As I'm the president,it falls on me

to do the honours,then we shall see

If Imapig2 has a gold trophy,

Says APigCanFly " open it up then...quickly "

Rip ! rip ! tear !...er hum ! er hum !

moonpig clears his throat

Here is the result of the Trophy take note.

Although a trophy you have won

it's Bronze , not gold ~ but it's still...Well Done

 

Imapig2 gave out a big sigh

And a very large tear came into her eye

Her chin started to wobble,her snout started to run

Then a Gi-Normous wail bellowed from her tum

Come now dear,don't be so sad

after all life can't be That bad

Yeah !...Pull yourself together

said moonpig~like me

I too,so far as yet,have no Gold trophy

Been trying for ages,but it just doesn't appear

Got silver,got bronze,not gold,oh dear me !

You've got to start small...... don't you worry at all

O.K. says Ima ( sniff ! )........ I know

( sniff ! ) " from little acorns.....Mighty oaks grow "

I'll move on to a silver.... next time

Then up the ladder, I Will Climb.

Can't wait for my 1st trophy to come

Basket Balloon

It was early one November morning

And the three little pigs can be found

In their favourite spot in the meadow

All sitting on the ground,

with a camp-fire burning

and marshmallows on sticks a turning.

The meadow was still covered in dew

from the early morning mist

The three little pigs were fooling around

'til imapig2 remenisced

 

　

　

" The balloons were good

they were just too thin

But a BIG THICK one

might just do the trick

Don't you think thats...'slick'"

 

"There's an old basket in the barn"

said APigCanFly-spinning a yarn

"I'll find it out and dust it down"

moonpig gave his cockeyed frown

"I've got some old braces

well quite a few

So all we need now

Is a balloon & a net too!

"My fish net tights

are just the ticket"

APigCanFly added.."It's alright

to borrow them..if it

will help at all,don't mind at all

I'll take them off now

so close your eyes'

don't want no peekin,'

With that job done

it was down to 'brass tacks'

"Where we goin' to get the balloon from ?"

imapig2 asks

Putting her trotters into her pocket

nothing comes out

but a moth & a socket

"Things are a bit tight"said she

"Got no rich uncles,No not me"

　

A cow's udder would do fine

for the balloon - for a time

With the socket to unlock-it,

No....It won't hurt at all

moonpig said laughin'

Let's give it a try

as a large cow walked by.

So thats what they did

and things went to plan

now we find imapig2

assembling the...er..um..balloon

"I'm ready to go

just need some hot air

to get flying

above the trees...up there

"Don't look at ME" said APigCanFly

I've not got enough hot air inside

Sorry I can't provide"

They hunted around

and found an old bucket,

Got some sticks together

and put those in it.

With the bucket in the basket

beneath the balloon

 

a fire was started,to inflate & soon

imapig2 was once more airbound

Up in the air,yes.. not on the ground

Picture the scene as the balloon flies past

over the forest & into the west

A PigCanFly's tights over a Gi-normous balloon

And moonpigs braces holding fast

and imapig2's efforts

to keep the fire in

an old metal bucket

imapig2 cried turning

around to see flames

rising higher & higher

Phew! It Was A BIG FIRE !

Her two piggy friends

watched in utter dismay

As they saw the flames licking

and devouring away

a little pink figure

waving frantically Quicker

 

HELP !!!!

 

Is it pork sandwiches for supper ?

Don't tell me...my friend

IS THIS.. YOUR END ! ?

WAKE UP ! piggy dear said imapig2's friends

Camp-fires are so dangerous & often it tends

to follow a trail

in this case Your Tail !

Dear, stop your wingeing

it's your tail that is singeing

With that imapig2 stopped her wail

and the two piggy friends bandaged her tail,

and feeling much better , she now understands

that friendship is better than flying & tends

to be all that she needs.. to be accepted...so ends

The Three Little Pigs ( Balloons )

( characters M = moonpig A = APigCanFly I = imapig2 N = narrator )

　

N = A few days later,in the month of May

Imapig2 was heard to say

by her two little friends

who'd come to play

I = I've got a plan,that I think might work

to get me airborn...I'm no 'jerk'

 

A = What have you planned this time little pig

( said APigCanFly doing a 'jig' )

 

　

I = Balloons full of 'gas' I'd try, I thought

tied to a band around my chest,they ought...

to lift me up into the sky

then like you two

I could fly........

What do you think ?

( says moonpig ..with a 'wink'

M = Well I suppose we can but try

The machine in the village

sells balloons & things

 

　

A = It sells toys & flowers

but doesn't sell wings

But you need some money to put in the slot

So Imapig2....how much have you got ?

　

I = Don't have any at present

things are a little tight

A = Thought you'd say that

M = I've got a button around my middle

I can take it off,& use it to fiddle...

about with the slot,& then very soon

will get the presents out

Out came a packet

of brightly coloured balloons

It didn't half make a racket

 

M = All we need now, is lots of 'hot' air

to fill the balloons

and there's no room to view!

 

N = An hour did pass

with balloons filled at last

I = How did you do that ?

N = Then wih great expertize

The band of balloons

lifted up Imapig2's ends !

She floated away,with Elegance & Grace

& a big pink pig smile

appeared on her face.( <___> )

M = Watch out for the windmill,

it's blades are quite sharp

A = We don't want you dropping

in the pond with the carp !

N = So Imapig2 steered the balloons out the way

I = How's that then...... is that O.K.?

N = Next came the farm yard

things looked quite small

the geese flew over

'honking' their call.

Honk ! Honk !
 

 

To the bright coloured balloons

they looked pretty near

Too close for comfort

Yes too close I fear.

Pop ! went a balloon as a goose beak's caught it

Pop ! went another,as another goose fought it

POP !......POP !
 

M = Look! piggys dropping right out of the sky

 

A = Those naughty geese should be in a pie

I = Help me please,I'm losing height

I can see the muckheap coming into sight

( Weeeeeee...Ker..Plop ! )

N = Her two little friends couldn't

get there in time

to save Imapig2 who was on the decline

So into the poo

went Imapig2

should be used to it by now

What ..say..you?..

A = Never mind,that was a very good try

 

M = Yes Imapig2..You..did..fly.

I = Next time will be better

Farmopoly! "

What shall we do today ? " said Imapig2 to her two friends who had come to visit.

" Well we can't do much out-side, it's raining " replied APigCanFly, " we'd better do something inside......

( Thurp ! ).. A disconcerted noise was heard coming from Moonpig's direction. " Opps ! sorry " said Moonpig, " It's just that I'm not very good at finding ' things ' to do when it's raining out-side. "

" Never mind " APigCanFly "managed to say in a muffled voice....holding her snout....." Quick !. open the window , Imapig2 ...for a bit of ' fresh ' air . "

" O.K......eerk ! ( noise of window opening )..I've got a good idea " Imapig2 said, " I've bought this good board game called ' Farmopoly '...It's a bit like what the ' humans ' play, but......Pooh ! what's that smell? "

" Er....nothing at all...Let's give that game A- go " Moonpig replied quickly changing the subject. " I bags the tractor for my counter "

So the others choose their counters, and begin to play

" Wait a minute...I'll go first as I'm the President " grunted Moonpig.

" I'll go second as I'm the Vice President " oinked APigCanFly

"S'pose that means I go last as I'm a 'No-body ' "...sniffed Imapig2.

" Now then .. don't be sad....and you ARE important to us " nudged APigCanFly to Moonpig..

" Oh , yes ! of course you are " agreed Moonpig , quickly giving APigCanFly a puzzled look ( ! @ ! )

" Can't you see , she's getting upset " whispered APigCanFly in Moonpig's ear." .... " Tell you what....you can be the ' Banker ' as well . That's an important job , isn't it ? " APigCanFly nudged back to Moonpig .

" Oh ! Yes ! yes!....it is Very Important to be The Banker Imapig2 , after all , you need to able to..er..." ( thinking how to finish , so as not to upset Imapig2 ) " COUNT ?!?! finished Moonpig

"That's right Moony , yes , you need someone good at arithmatic. " echoed APigCanFly .

" Well why didn't you say " said Imapig2 , cheering up.." Let's play the game ."

" Wonder what a - riff -ma -tik is ? " thought Imapig2 quietly to herself...

"Just remember, " added Moonpig , " that when I pass GO , I get twice as much money , 'coz I'm The President . "

" That's right , and I get one & a half times as much , because I'm The Vice President...o.k. " APigCanFly agreed........

Well.....an hour passed by and......

" Oh ! I don't want to ' play ' this game any more. " said a rather annoyed Moonpig . " I can't understand how You've managed to get So Much Money , Imapig2 "

" Neither can I " was the words of an exsasperated APigCanFly.

" But , I'm .....The BANKER......therefore I'm entitled to a HUGE BONUS everytime I go past GO , aren't I ? " oinked Imapig2 .

Moonpig & APigCanFly , looked at each other with disgusted looks >@< ( just like that ) .

" O-Oh! " Imapig2 guessed they weren't very pleased & continued... " Never mind , the sun has come out now..." and dashed out into the bright sunlight . " Better make myself scarce " she thought.

" IMA !!!! wait 'til I catch you ! " bellowed Moonpig .

" Oh ! don't be too hard on her , after all I did see you once or twice , with your trotters under the table " APigCanFly warned Moonpig .

" Who me ??? CHEAT ! " said Moonpig in a surprised , raised voice.

And they both ran out after Imapig2 who was quickly disappearing out of sight .

we don't want you ending up in ' the stew '

I = Don't worry 'bout me

I'm made of rubber

I bounce right back

just like a cow's udder

M = I think I've seen

just what you need

in the village window

just follow my lead

N = In the shop window

there was a K.I.T.E !

marked half price now

it was a sight

There it is - it's Beautiful

I = What a beautiful colour

lime green with pink spots

Just what I wanted

( Or was it big dots )

A = Have you got any money to buy the kite ?

I = Not at present...things are a little bit tight,

but don't worry I can sing

will do a little..er..'busking'

Soon pull in a crowd,with my blood curdling voice

They'll pay me to STOP,

they've really no choice

N = Within the next hour

they've got enough dough ( money )

to buy that kite

from the shop window

M = I know a place,where the wind's

always blowing

A = Lead the way then,that's the way we are goin'

N = So they found a spot

where believe it or not

the wind always blows

or so the saying goes

M & A = We'll strap you tight

to the kite ,

then run & pull you high

into the sky

N = Off they ran pulling the the string

with Imapig2 firmly fixed within

Into the breeze

up past the trees

soared Imapig2 with a knocking of knees

" SCREAM "

Then quite by chance..

all of a sudden ! the wind  stopped blowin'

( shock horror ! )

you know what's comin'

Down came the kite ( C.R.A.S.H ! )

N = Suddenly..C.R.A.C.K ! went the branches

where piggy was stuck in

with Imapig2 clutchin'..

on to the kite 'cos thats all she could do..

strapped onto the kite frame

now covered in bird poo

I = Arrgh ! it's going again

can feel it in my bones

Quick ! can't the two of you

dial 999 on your phones ?

M = Haven't got mine with me

A = Nor me ...it's broken you see

N = C.R.A.S.H ! down fell Everything

With that things went B.L.A.C.K !

Guess where piggy ended up ?

After everthing said

yes you're right..

she fell out of bed !

Was it the supper she ate last night ?

which made her dreaming

'bout flying a kite

What ever the cause..

she was glad to be back

safe in the farmhouse

not flat on her back .

Tsunami !

" What a beautiful scene " said Imapig2 to her two piggy friends moonpig & APigCanFly -

sitting here , out in the fresh air ,on top of this hill,over looking a beautiful picture'sque landscape,with the village down there & all it's little houses & shops dotted about.Doesn't it make you Glad to be alive ?

It's So
 peaceful here

 

"Yes" replied APigCanFly " I like the seagulls flying overhead & the cry of them all. Makes you feel like you're at the sea-side ".
" Yup ! sure does " piped in Moonpig "That reminds me,did anyone bring the sandwiches ?"
" Trust you to think of your belly " APigCanFly muttered under her breath,.." I thought it was your turn to bring the food " she piped up.
" Opps ! S o z ! ....I clear forgot . Lets go down into the village down there ( he pointed with his trotters ) & buy some Chips to tide us over. "
" O.K. " agreed the other two , & up they got & ambled down into the village.
" Perhaps we could have a 'Boat Ride ' on the lake later on " said Ima, " It looks so peaceful "

For Loan

 

" Maybe - Let's get our dinner first & then we'll put it to the vote ". Have you got any money for your cone of chips ? " asked Moonpig to Imapig2. Imapig2 put her trotters in her pockets, shuffled them about a bit & then replied " Sorry I'm a little broke at the moment "
" Never mind " APigCanFly boasted " My rich uncle has sent me some pocket money over so I can buy us ALL some chips........No !.... I insist said APigCanFly,....Let it be MY TREAT to you both "
" Thats kind of you ( Er um...erhum ! Moonpig clears his throat ) was just gonna see how much I'd got on me " ( You can guess...can't you ? )
A little later all three were 'Diving ' in to their 'Cones of Chips ', sitting on the bank of the lake when Suddenly ! Ima cries " TSUNAMI ! "
" Yeah ! " sniggered Moonpig " We've heard that one before, haven't we APigCanFly ? "
" No I really MEAN IT - LOOK !!!
As the other two piggies turned around......S P L A S H ! A empty bucket was now in Ima's trotters

Arrgh !
 

" What's that for ? " Ima's two friends were soaked to the skin.....Then looking at Imapig2 quite sternly Moonpig & APigCanFly both agreed " You need a spanking for that Ima.. (.. or at least some of your own medicine ... " )
" Let's throw Ima into the Lake " suggested Moonpig ( winking at APigCanFly > @ ) 
" Oh No !!! I can't swim " cried out Imapig2.....& she started to run,squealing ...all the way home & shouting back to her two friends...." It was a joke.....Just a joke...
Moonpig & APigCanFly ran after Imapig2 & chased her...All The Way Home. Oink! Oink!
