THE CAVE.....ESCAPADE !!
One night, two little pigs crept out into the darkness." Have you brought a torch " asked Moonpig to Imapig2 ?
" No, but I've got this candle & "there are some matches in my pocket " replied Imapig2 quietly. "
That's a first " mumbled Moonpig to himself, " Have you seen APigCanFly about ? "
" No, the last time I saw her, she was being carried away by those Revolting Veggies "answered Imapig2.
Suddenly a voice called out from the darkness" I'm here , have escaped those Revolting...things, I managed to 'open my wings & fly away ' " ??

. " Oh ! My Love ! " drooled Moonpig, all down his chin, " I thought you had gone ..FOREVER " running towards APigCanFly
" Shh! we must be quiet ! " began APigCanFly, "don't want anyone-else to know we're here , do we ? "
"Yeah! don't want to wake up " The Bogeyman Pig ! " put in Imapig2
"What are we doing out here anyway ? " asked APigCanFly " I just had this weird note thrown through my window "
" What does it say, my love ? " quizzed Moonpig
" It says.." Meet us outside The Club-House tonight at Midnight, bring some drinks" so I came, thinking it was a Welcome Home party "answered APigCanFly " obviously I was wrong "
" What did you bring ? " enquired Imapig2
" I've brought some Beer for Moony, a Cherry 'B' for me, & a bottle of Ginger Beer for you Ima . Is that alright my 'little piggy friend' "
"Oh! goody ! goody ! ' beer ' for me " said Imapig2 as she danced up & down clapping her trotters, " A grown up drink !! "
SUDDENLY ! oo oo oO OOO ! a noise sounded in the darkness of the night
" What was that ! ? " said Imapig2 startled.
" Oh ! " retorted Moonpig, " It's probably just an owl, nothing to worry about. Come on, follow me " he said " and off he went pushing Imapig2 in front of him.

APigCanFly squealed softly " Wait for me, these bottles are Heavy to carry "" O.K. " replied Moonpig, " we'll walk a little more slowly,so you can keep up."
" Are you frightened of the dark ? " inquired Imapig2 to Moonpig.
" Of course not. " replied Moonpig.
" Then STOP hiding behind me & pushing me forward " added Imapig2
" I just don't want to ...er..um..lose these sandwiches...yes that's right. After all, we'll need some supper when we get there." rambled on Moonpig.
" Will the two of you ..stop your 'twittering' & let's get there, ..where ever that is." grunted APigCanFly.
" It's not much further...' just around the bend ' " said Imapig2
Moonpig mumbled something under his breath, but didn't let on.
" Here it is " said Imapig2, stopping in her tracks.
" Ouch ! " said Moonpig, walking straight into Imapig2's backside. " Did you have to stop so abruptly ? "
" Sorry Moony , didn't realize you were so ....close "
"Well where are we ? " APigCanFly wanted to know.
" This is my 'Secret Cave' " a proud Imapig2 answered, " I found it last month, but couldn't remember where it was 'til I found it again the other day & left a marker outside.

" Typical " tutted Moonpig, " let's get inside quick, my belly's begining to rumble.
Once inside the cave, noises of the strangest kind were heard.( whirl~~ )
" Is there anyone else in here ? " quizzed APigCanFly.
" It's just My stomach ! " replied a rather 'bashful' Moonpig, going a 'darker shade of green', which didn't really matter in the darkness of the cave..until(scrape,scrape,whoosh...flicker.) Imapig2 had lit the candle...& ALL could see Moonpig's face.
Imapig2 glued the candle with some hot wax from the melting candle on to a large stone inside the cave.
"OOH ! Moony ! Are you alright ? " said a surprised APigCanFly as she noticed his darker coloured face.

" Who ! Me ! Yup ! I'm fine...it's just a....er..little cold in here. Perhaps you'd like to give me a cuddle & warm me up." gestured Moonpig.
"Not now Moony,there's a time & a place for ....everything ..& it's not now ...or here. Besides we're all too young for adult life yet."
" I'm quite ...'grown up' for my age " whispered Moonpig to APigCanFly.
"What's going on with you two ? " questioned Imapig2
" Take no notice, it's Moonpig...behaving silly "said APigCanFly rather sternly.
" O.K. " was all Imapig2 replied, & with that .... all three dived into the jam sandwiches & then had their drinks.
" Burp ! " belched a contented Moonpig,his belly full to bursting".
You are a ...'Fat' pig & quite a 'Rude' one " a disgusted APigCanFly grunted.

" Where I come from, it's considered...'polite' to belch after an enjoyable meal " came Moonpig's reply.
" Well not HERE it isn't anyway " Replied APigCanFly sharply " Isn't that right Imapig2 ? "
" Don't look at me , I'm saying nothing...' Buuurp ! ' " copied Imapig2 (hee ! hee! )
" Well with that all sorted, ( sort of ) what shall we do next ? " burped Moonpig again.
" It's 'Story Telling Time ' now said an excited Imapig2 " I'll go first, shall I ? "
" Yes of course you can go first " replied Moonpig, cuddling up to APigCanFly.
" Yes, we're 'All Ears ' " said APigCanFly, tickling Moonpig's chin,Moonpig began to 'colour up ' again, which was un-noticed by Imapig2, who was busy thinking up a story to tell her two 'bestest friends'.
" Right " she said at last, " Are you sitting comfortably ? then I'll begin...." It was a..Cold....Dark...Windy night " she began " ( in the gruffest voice she could muster ) ..& three little pigs sat in a cave"

" Sounds familier " muttered Moonpig, as he stared into APigCanFly's dark brown eyes
" Hush ! " Let Ima, tell her story "APigCanFly whispered back to Moonpig.
" & one said... " continued Imapig2, ( oblivious to the other two's affectionate glances at each other, ) " I'm gonna tell you a story , & this is what he said....It was a ..Cold....Dark...Windy night & three little pigs sat in a cave , & one said...I'm gonna tell you a story, & this is what he said....
Someone blew the candle out, ( fsfsh ! then ....Wallop ! bash ! bang ! Swish ! ) " That's enough of that, we've heard it All Before " echoed Moonpig's voice.
" Waaah! that hurt ! " blurted Imapig2.
" Let's go Home...before we're all missed.Where did ...HE ... hit you Ima ? Let me kiss it better .There there now, ( xxx ) comforted APigCanFly.
" Sniff ! sniff ! That....much better now. " Imapig2 sniffled, wiping her snout on her trotter.
" Naughty Moony ! " APigCanFly added shaking Her trotter at...." where.. was..he ? " Moonpig was not in the cave anymore.All was silent.
" Do you think he's been ...eaten..by The Bogeyman Pig ? " asked Imapig2 in a whisper to APigCanFly
" Who knows " answered APigCanFly as they tip-toed out of the cave into the Dark Night Sky!
" BOO ! " shouted Moonpig, from behind a bush & out he jumped.

" Arrrgh ! " shouted the other two, as they clasped each other for protection.
" Let's go home then, " said Moonpig, " follow me " he continued as he pushed Imapig2 in front of him, " I'll protect you both "...& off they ran...All the way home.
