Chapter 5 (( Sea-side Trip )

" So...." Moonpig said, " Whats next on the 'To Do' list ? " feeling a little better. ( having a sore bottom from off the donkey rides. )

" How about " began APIgCanFly, " collecting sea-shells & seeing what else we can find in the rock pools ? "

Imapig2 collected her little bucket & went skipping along the rock pools to see what she could find.

Boing ! boing ! ...off to the Rock Pools

" Who ever finds the biggest crab, wins " shouted Moonpig , & let's make that in 20 mins...I'll set my watch "

" O.K. " called back Imapig2

" Shall we go over here ? ( Moonpig pointed his trotter to a Large Rock ) rolling his eyes to APigCanFly .

" I've got a better suggestion " began APigCanFly, " Why don't you go over there (points to some smaller rocks ) & see if you can find a crab or two & I'll go over here.. ( points in the opposite direction ) & see what I can find. Hurry ! you only have 19 minutes left.

Moonpig pulled one of his 'silly faces' & off he went in search of a BIG crab.

"Just Imagine"..thought Moonpig

Later......Rrrrrring ! went the alarm 20 minutes later.

" O.K. " shouted APigCanFly, " bring your buckets over here. "

" I didn't find a crab,but I did find some shells." Imapig2 said.

" Very good Ima & they Are pretty shells you have there " APigCanFly told Imapig2

" Unfortunately I only found one small crab,how about you Moonpig ? " asked APigCanFly.

I win !!!

" Think I've won " he said " Look at this for the 'winning' crab." Moonpig pulled the crab out of his bucket. which quickly pinched his snout. " Ouch ! "said Moonpig dropping his bucket. The crab dropped down Moonpig's tummy & found a 'lower' place to 'latch' on to again." OUCH ! " screamed Moonpig " that's brought tears to my eyes."

" Don't worry, I'll get that Nasty crab to release you " said Imapig2 as she quickly picked up her spade & 'wacked' the crab hanging onto Moonpig .

" Ouch ! !...Stop it Ima " cried Moonpig in pain, " Don't just stand there APigCanFly....do something ! "

" O.K.....here's a trick I learnt last time," with that,she tickled the crab which quickly 'let go' & scurried off along the beach

" Here's a trick I learnt " said APigCanFly

before burying itself in the sand.

" Phew ! " said a relieved Moonpig " I could have been damaged for life,let me Thank You my saviour..."

The town clock struck 6 'o clock

Suddenly....'DONG ! dong ! went the seaside clock as it struck 6 o' clock" Quick ! no time for 'that' Moonpig.( A Big kiss & a cuddle most likely ) , if we don't hurry,we'll miss the coach back home " said APigCanFly & opening her wings,off she flew to catch the coach home.
