Chapter Four...Sea-side

"Better Now" said APigCanFly

" Oh ! "Don't be such a ' Wimp ! ' " laughed Moonpig as he suddenly appeared along with APigCanFly...trotter in trotter,. They quickly set about getting Imapig2 out of the sand & dusted her down

" Why did you leave her on her own ? " enquired APigCanFly " You told me she was fine when you came & found me out-side the ' Sows ' ( ladies loo )

" Well...she wasn't  'going ' anywhere fast " Moonpig replied " & we weren't long...were we ? he continued ...drooling longingly at ApigCanFly.

" There , you look fine now " APigCanFly said, polishing the last bit of sand off Ima's tummy. Lets do something a bit more ' calming ' " added APigCanFly .

" What about ...flying a...Kite ? " suggested Moonpig

Help ! ...

" You're Not going to... ' strap ' me to it , are you ? " whimpered Imapig2 " like what happened in one of my dreams ? "

" How about a Donkey Ride ? " APigCanFly tried calming Imapig2 down.

" YEAH ! " shrieked Imapig2 excitedly

" Oh go on then " grumbled Moonpig. So off they all ran....to where the donkeys were waiting on the beach, ready for work.

" I want to ride the 'spotted one' " pleaded Imapig2

"I Like The Spotted One " said Imapig2

" O.K. " said the donkey-ride keeper, " the other two can ride Bessy 'brown' one & Mabel ( the sandy one )."

Off they went across the beach. They were allowed to ride from one flag on the beach & back to the other one on their own.

" This is Fun " laughed Imapig2 turning her head to look at Moonpig, hanging on for 'dear life'

" Think I've.. got.. the 'bumpy one'....uuch ! ouch ! that hurt ! " be-moaned Moonpig.

To the Post & Back

APigCanFly giggled " Now who's being a 'Wimp'? she cried back to Moonpig,passing him by on Mabel.

" Giddy Up ! gee gee ! " Imapig2 called out in utter enjoyment.

" Well, that was Fun " said APigCanFly as they dismounted their donkeys, " don't you agree Moonpig ? "

" Yeah !....Great ! ( Not ) joined in Moonpig, rubbing his sore parts.

"What shall we do next ? " babbled on a ...rather over excited Imapig2.

" Hold your horses Ima...well donkeys, let's eat our sandwiches first & have a drink " said APigCanFly  " Let's try here , near the rock pools , sit down & let's eat ." ( all except Moonpig, who said he'd rather stand )

"I'd rather stand thanks"said Moonpig
