Imapig2's Pet Slug cont;Chapters 2 & 3

CHAPTER 2    ( Right Up Slugger's Street )   

Imapig2's pet Slugger was a Clever little slug .He had been taught at least six tricks successfully .

An advertising company was after a ' Certain Model ' to advertise  how dangerous a Product was if directions were ignored.

Moonpig dragged APigCanFly along with him to Ima's house one Saturday morning along with the local newspaper .

" What's all the fuss about ? " queried APigCanFly as they neared Ima's house .

" Well you know Imapig2 has taught Slugger all those tricks ?... " he waited for an answer .

" Yes , I know . " APigCanFly replied .

" Well, there's an advertisement in the newspaper asking for models  " Moonpig continued , " I think Slugger could be ideal. " Moonpig stopped dragging APigCanFly & opened the newspaper to show her . " Here it is " he said pointing with his trotter to the small area on the 'WANTED' page .

APigCanFly read the advertisement to herself  , looked Moonpig in the eyes & said " Do you think she would let Slugger do.... THAT ! "

"That's right up Slugger's street ,so to speak,& there's bound to be........Money  in it , look what it says here :- A rich reward for the successful applicant ..... See ? "

" Ahh ! I get it...you think as Imapig2 is so generous she's bound to share the reward ( whatever it is ) with You ! " APigCanFly summerised .

" I ...er suppose ...I hadn't really thought that far ahead " said Moonpig his cheeks turning a darker shade of green . " Probably she'll share A ' little ' with Both of us...& er ..um Slugger of course . What do you think ?

" Oh ! come on then, but if Ima says NO , then that's it then...O.K. NO pressuring her .... I mean it "APigCanFly sounded Serious .

" No ! no pressure at all " promised Moonpig ( with his front trotter's crossed behind his back ) 

Imapig2 was all EXCITED as Moonpig ' spun ' her a yarn about how famous Slugger would be . blah ! blah ! blah !

" Just think " said Imapig2 to Slugger " you're going to be FAMOUS ". So arrangements were made . Slugger proved to be Just the model they were looking for  their latest advertising ' Drive '.

Chapter 3    (Slugger Becomes Famous )

Weeks later as the three little pigs were in Moo-Town village , they came across some Huge Posters.....One read :-TOO MUCH SALT IS BAD FOR YOU ! Another read :- SALT CAN KILL ! Both advertisments were accompanied by a picture of...of Slugger !... pretending to be Dead , all curled up & not moving a muscle .

"Better not eat too much salt !"
 says the snail

" Doesn't Slugger look Real Good ? " smiled Imapig2 "  they even painted him up to look as though he had Real salt all over him "

APigCanFly smiled back to Imapig2 & agreed that he was .... Magnificent !

" £££££££'s" thought Moonpig

Moonpig though wasn't very much amused , " Yeah ! yeah ! " he half heartedly agreed .

 And what was the reward ? Free food to keep Slugger in the way he was used to for a Whole year .

" Well ! " said a despondant Moonpig , " Are you sure that's ALL Slugger got ?

Imapig2 said " Well Slugger's not grumbling , he's enjoying all that Free Food .

" Pfft ! " was all Moonpig could answer .

APigCanFly started to Giggle....

Slugger just Smiled :)

Imapig2 wondered what All the fuss was about !
